 Connecting Points

One way we intentionally get people together for fellowship, fun, learning, service, or a combination of any of those reasons is through Providence's Connecting Points. With our church membership coming from all directions of the Charleston area to Daniel Island, getting to know each other and building relationships with each other is an important part of being church.

Connecting Points helps us to connect with one another. We have groups meeting on a regular basis inside and outside the church. In addition to the regularly scheduled activities like Sunday School, Adult Choir, and the Bells of Providence, we have folks getting together to ride bikes—the Providence Peleton; read and discuss books—the Book Club; write and be creative with words—the Writer’s Group; make baby blankets for the M.U.S.C. Children’s Hospital—C.O.O.L. (Crocheting Out Of Love); playing tennis—Sunday Afternoon Tennis Group; and a Bible Study for young moms that meets during the school year.

Connecting Points work because people gather around a common interest and want to spend time together. New Connecting Points are always welcomed into our growing list.
